What to expect: during this course, we will cover in depth 3 parts:

The basics of a wine tasting: tasting technics, wine and tasting vocabulary, the main wine aromas. How to read the label of a bottle and open it ;)

Languedoc-Roussillon: the specificities of this wine region in terms of history, terroirs, climate, grapes and production techniques.

How to produce a wine: What are the basic "ingredients" to produce a wine, the vocabulary around it and qualitative aspects.

Including: Cheat notes to take home with you, water

How do we produce wine: the technique behind producing sparkling, white, red and sweet wines, what it does changes in the taste of the wine

What are the comon grapes of Languedoc-Roussillon: what are theyr aroma profile and how do they change from other producing regions.

The french controlled appelation system: how to understand the different wine classifications and which one are the most know in Languedoc Roussillon

Including: Cheat notes to take home with you, water
